Animal As Metaphor: Expressive Art Journaling online class
In this class we will create an art journal spread based on the live class I have taught as an art educator and art therapist. I am also a professional painter so I love to add layers of paint, pencils, collage, and found imagery to my journals.
You will learn how to use animals as metaphors for storytelling. Many cultures have animal totems, spirit animals, power animals. In art therapy I have learned that archetypal animals that we relate to helps us tell our stories through symbols and metaphors. So I have created this online art journal class all about this work.
The wonderful aspect of online classes is that if you don’t have time to go to a live class you can take a class on your own schedule and also pause the videos and rewind if you need!
Video classes are a game changer for artists! For the student to see the artist working with an application of paint, and other tools is way more interactive than reading a lesson.
